Job Market Paper: The Sorry Clause

Primary fields : Institutional Economics, Law and Economics, Political Economy

Secondary fields : Applied Microeconomic Theory, Behavioural & Experimental Economics

My research focusses on utilizing the toolkit of theoretical microeconomics, primarily game theory, for the exploration of and investigations into institutions that enforce the compliance of specific rules. The variety of processes that are involved in creating this environment mandates that the subject matter of such investigations lie at the intersection of law, political science and sociology. As a part of my research agenda I attempt to create an economic paradigm to evaluate non-market and seemingly non-economic activities from these disparate areas of study.
